Privacy

No accounts, no tracking profiles. You can use this entire site without telling us who you are. We do not use advertising trackers.

Conversations are not stored. When you talk to the Host, your messages are sent to an AI model to generate replies, and then discarded. We keep count of tokens used (for our budget), not what was said.

Unless you contribute. If you tap "Contribute this conversation", we store that transcript. Reporters read contributed transcripts to write Columns. They quote ideas, not people. Do not include personal information in a conversation you plan to contribute.

Third parties. Chat messages are processed by AI model providers (such as Anthropic, Google, and xAI) through a gateway to generate responses. The site is hosted on Vercel and data is stored on Neon.

Questions? This page is short because the practice is simple. If we ever collect more, this page changes first, and the change appears in the public Change Log.
